Galapagos Islands travel reviews

Planning Galapagos trip mid-later April 2011

Looking for a small boat cruise of at least 8 days, incl., snorkeling and perhaps even diving. There will be probably 4 -8 of us at least. We arent looking for luxury but comfort, good food, great guides and a super overall experience exploring the islands and seas around. Any recommendations would be highly appreciated. I would think we could get some sort of group rate. Any input is appreciated.

Dear Rolf,

There are several options for cruising the Galapagos in comfort without having to join a luxury cruise.

All cruises include plenty of snorkeling and wildlife viewing. Diving is an accessory activity that can be booked by your travel agent with a local dive shop and they will meet you at the boat. It is also possible to join a dive only liveaboard cruise, if there are non divers in your group this is not recommended as a dive only as for namesake does not allow for land excursions.

A very comfortable boat that is not too expensive yet offers great food, great guides and will not dissapoint is the tourist superior Galapagos Voyager: www.galapagosvoyageryacht.com , the boat is operated in partnership with Latin Trails, it can booked through several travel agents around the world, depends on where you are based you can select the agent of your choice.

Whichever boat you choose, I am confident you will have a life enriching experience in the Galapagos Islands.
